Our products

Resources Online produces a line of patient-centered healthcare information systems.

The first of these products, CARE for HIV/STD, is a computer-based counseling product line offering HIV risk assessment, counseling, risk reduction planning, and rapid test workflow and consenting. CARE is designed to be used in clinics that offer counseling and/or STD testing, and it has been used in community outreach settings as well. CARE also manages patient data and produces required reports for CDC and other funding agencies. It is currently available in standalone clinical packages, individual client versions, and a Web-based service.

The platform underlying CARE can be used for a range of healthcare applications, and has been used for healthcare research on HIV-Positive patients; farm worker pesticide exposure; and healthcare outreach for individuals in under-served ethnic communities.

Language versions: CARE is currently available in English, and will be available in a bilingual Spanish-English version in summer, 2008. A Hindi version is in development and will be available in the first half of 2009.
