We have a job opportunity for a person with substantive, recent experience at Microsoft as a vendor, contractor, or FTE in a web producer/developer role who is familiar with relevant tools, platforms, and processes. Experience with content, design, site management, and website building is also highly valuable.
Experience with Microsoft web platforms such as CSP, ASP, MTPS, CosMoS, or SharePoint is strongly preferred.
Some positions are onsite at Microsoft in Redmond, WA.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in web production, development, design, or content development and editorial.
- Two years working with Microsoft proprietary web platforms to produce, support, or manage website initiatives.
- Ability to optimize graphics for web use. Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
- Seasoned working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills. Substantial client interaction experience is a plus.
- Capable of working on a virtual team. Experience in a virtual setting is a plus.
Highly desired
- Diverse creative background including web development, writing/editing, or design.
- A related degree or certification.
- Flexibility and interest in learning new complementary skills.
- Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and XML.
- Experience with SharePoint.
